So, with the new year coming I really have to get some things
really together together. I am going to be changing some of my
prices and add new packages, but I would love to know what you all
think. So here are some questions I would just love to
have you answer for me.
I am wanting to stop giving the high resolution discs with
every session. Im still going to offer it a la carte, but not just
give it out with every session I do...except perhaps with weddings.
I know it is awesome to have because you have
the option to print anywhere you like whenever you like...but
lets be honest here...how many times do you really use the disc...if ever?
I know having images to put on Facebook or email to family
is a big deal...I get that, so Im thinking of giving a low resolution
disc with each session for the ease of web use, but I want to
put more focus on prints. The prints you will be getting will
be professional quality prints, no risk of getting prints that are
off color or fuzzy because the lab you used was not the best one.
When you order prints, you are FOR SURE going to get those prints.
No risk of forgetting you got the disc....never got around to printing
and now it is sitting in the bottom of your desk and you feel like you
waisted a couple hundred bucks for Facebook photos. No if thats
all you want, and thats fine, but most people I think want to
have at least a few prints to hang up on the wall or send to
Mom and Dad. So this is just my first question of many I have
for all you photo lovers out there. Please let me know what you
think. Your opinion is very important to me so heres the deal...
if you give me some input I will give you 10% off the package of
your choice starting the first of January when they go up on my site.
I will have some questions for all you brides out there next time.
Thank you so much guys....oh, and here is a picture for you
since no blog is fun without them!
enjoy...
And How
ReplyDeleteIve been thinking similar things(of course) you and me we are like one..Especially when you said droppin some bones just for FB picks. I mean its great free social advertisement but come on. I would love to help you decide on things and packages..I just got a portfolio proof book for a senior..and LOVE it;) Its physical and is something you can carry with you and that she can have forever on display. So yeah I totally understand and I think these feelings are normal for folk like us, trying to make it big;) Trying to capture moments for people to be able to look back on and remember and aaaahhhh and oooooohh at.
AND what hurts the most is when you see prints that they've printed off at Walmart or Sam's and the color is allll wrong and it just makes you sad because now THAT is what is representing me.
