Old Lady Picher

First of all I would like to regretfully state that for those
of you who were looking for news on the Sweethearts in the Park
information, you are about to be disappointed.  I will admit I may have
planned without thinking much ahead.  I didn't think about the fact
that it is superbowl weekend.  Mostly because I don't follow football (sorry
fellas)  Then the weather man keeps saying these terrible things about
ice heading our way.  I just don't think its the best idea to do them in
20 degree weather.  For those of you who were looking forward to this,
I am very sorry, but please feel free to contact me for a regular session
anytime (and if you mention you were wanting to do the Sweetheart session
I will sweeten the deal for you ;) )

NOW, ON TO THE MAIN EVENT!!

A few days ago my darling marmee called me to inform me Picher Oklahoma
was about to be leveled.  Done.  Kaput!  You may remember me talking about Picher
here, or here.  I became fascinated with this little town after my first visit. For almost a century
she was the playground for so may individuals.  She was a place many called home, just like I
call mine, and soon there will be no place for those people to go back and reminisce about
the days gone bye.
It makes me sad how many weeping little homes there are just waiting for their time to pass.
Homes that still carry the personalities of their long lost families.
I hope that there are plenty of images of those better times for this
little ghost town.  The photos I have here represent the last bits of zest
left in Old Lady Picher.

Welcome.

This one may not be the best, but it gave some hope...

And this one just makes me laugh.

Good day!
